No /auctioneer command
If you have the symptom that when you type "/auctioneer" at the chat prompt in the game, and receive the following message, then the game has not loaded auctioneer for one reason or another.
Type /help for a listing of a few commands
In this case, Auctioneer is either:
- Using /auc instead (with the latest version of Auctioneer)
- Not installed correctly
- Not enabled in the AddOns screen
- Has a dependancy which is not enabled (Auctioneer depends on EnhTooltip and Stubby)
- Has a dependancy which is not installed correctly.
- Is out of date, and you don't have "Load out of date addons" checked in the AddOns screen.
Regardless of which one it is, the easiest way to rectify this problem on a large-scale and anonymous fashion is to completely remove the Auctioneer folders (Auctioneer, Enchantrix, EnhTooltip, Informant and Stubby) from your Interface/AddOns/ directories, and reinstall them using a freshly downloaded zip file from The Auctioneer Download Page
Note: If you don't want all of the AddOns in the pack installed, please at least ensure that you install Stubby and EnhTooltip as these are not optional dependancies and Auctioneer will not load without them.
